A few things that might save us both some time:
If a tool isn't working
The first thing to try is a hard refresh of your browser (Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows/Linux, Cmd + Shift + R on Mac). Many issues are cached-asset problems that vanish on a fresh load. If the issue persists, please include in your email:
- Which browser and version you're using (e.g., "Chrome 122 on Windows 11")
- Which tool you were using and what you were trying to do
- What you saw happen vs. what you expected
- Any error messages from the browser's console (press F12, click "Console" tab)
If you're suggesting a new tool
We genuinely love feature ideas. To help us evaluate it, tell us a bit about who would use it, why the existing options aren't great, and what the ideal user experience looks like. We're a small project so we can't build everything, but well-articulated suggestions go to the top of the list.
If you have a privacy or legal concern
Email us using the general inquiries address above and we'll route it to the right place. We take privacy and security reports seriously and will respond within a few business days at most.
Response times
Image Anvil is run by a small team, so we're not staffed for instant replies — but we read everything and we'll get back to you. Most messages get a response within a few business days. Genuinely urgent matters (security issues, legal questions) get priority.
What we won't help with
We can't help with general image editing questions, recovering files that weren't backed up, recommending hardware, or troubleshooting other websites' tools. Our scope is genuinely just the converters on this site.
